Barak: Syria Moves at Lightning Speed to Seize Opportunity of US Sanctions Lift

The US envoy to Syria, Tom Barak, said today, Saturday, that Syria is moving at lightning speed to seize the historic opportunity provided by the lifting of sanctions by US President Donald Trump.

Barak added: "Syria's leaders only want to coexist and mutually prosper with Lebanon."

The US envoy also affirmed that the United States is committed to supporting this relationship between two equal and sovereign neighbors (Syria and Lebanon) enjoying peace and prosperity.
