The first batch of cargo from the 'Saqr Humanitarian Ship' has arrived in the Gaza Strip as part of the relief efforts led by the United Arab Emirates to support the population amid escalating humanitarian challenges. This step is part of Operation Brave Knight 3, which aims to provide urgent support to affected families.
Relief convoys begin distribution in the northern region
The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the ship's cargo has started to gradually arrive in the region via trucks loaded with large quantities of humanitarian aid. The first convoys reached the northern areas, carrying relief packages provided by the Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Charity Foundation, as part of an organized distribution mechanism that ensures support reaches displaced families and the most vulnerable groups.
4000 tons of diverse aid
The ship's cargo includes approximately 4000 tons of relief materials, including food aid, shelter materials such as winter clothing and living essentials, as well as medicines, consumables, and medical devices. These supplies are expected to help alleviate humanitarian suffering and meet the basic needs of the population, especially children, women, and the elderly, as the month of Ramadan approaches.
Continuing humanitarian efforts and expanding support
This initiative is part of a series of ongoing humanitarian operations carried out by Operation 'Brave Knight 3', which works daily to reach displaced individuals and affected families in various areas of the region, in an effort to enhance humanitarian response and ensure the sustainability of aid flow to those in need.
