The first civilian plane landed at Qamishli Airport in Hasakah province today, Saturday, marking the beginning of the airport's reopening after years of closure.
This step is part of the arrangements of the agreement signed between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which aims to organize the management of vital facilities in the region.
Despite the reopening of the airport, data indicates that the implementation of the agreement's terms is progressing slowly, while the governor of Hasakah announced new measures to expedite the application and activate services, amid local anticipation regarding the course of understandings between the two sides.
