The Ukrainian General Staff stated that the Ukrainian army carried out strikes on a ballistic missile production facility in the Udmurtia region of southern Russia, located about 1400 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, in addition to targeting a gas processing station in the Samara region.
For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Russian air defense systems shot down 31 Ukrainian drones in various areas, noting that Russian forces took control of the village of Karpyivka in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine.
The recent developments reflect the ongoing intense military tensions between the two sides, with the scope of Ukrainian strikes expanding into the depths of Russian territory.
