Al Jazeera reported on Saturday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that what is needed is “more patience,” thanking U.S. President Donald Trump for what he described as his historic leadership, emphasizing that the cooperation between Israel and the United States is close.
Netanyahu added that the ongoing war “will lead to peace,” considering that the Iranian regime has killed many Israelis and should not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons that threaten Israel's existence, as he put it.
He confirmed that the operation being carried out by Israel with the United States against Iran will continue “at any cost,” referring to the destruction of the headquarters of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Tehran and the elimination of a large number of regime and Revolutionary Guard leaders, according to him.
Netanyahu also called on the Iranian people to overthrow the regime, considering that the opportunity is ripe for them to determine their own fate, adding that there is “increasing evidence” that Khamenei is no longer alive, without providing further details.
