The Argentine star Lionel Messi encountered a surprising and embarrassing situation during a friendly match between his team Inter Miami and Independiente del Valle in Puerto Rico, which ended with the American team winning 2-1, after four fans stormed the pitch.

The match, held at the Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium, started strongly as Santiago Morales opened the scoring for Inter Miami after 15 minutes, benefiting from an assist from Luis Suárez, before Patrick Mercado equalized just a minute later with a stunning shot that goalkeeper Rocco Ríos Novo could not save.

Messi and Rodrigo De Paul entered the match from the bench in the second half, and midway through, a play initiated by Suárez led to a handball by Gustavo Cortés, resulting in the referee awarding a penalty that Messi converted into a decisive goal, securing his team's victory 2-1.

The match experienced a strange delay in its start, as both teams arrived wearing almost identical black kits, preventing any kit changes before the match began.

The most controversial events occurred before the end of the match when four fans stormed the pitch and ran towards Messi to take pictures and greet him.

As security personnel attempted to quickly remove them, Messi fell due to the sudden movement while hugging one of the fans, raising concerns among the audience about the safety of the Argentine star.

It is worth noting that Messi's personal bodyguard, the French Yassine Chouikha, who usually appears alongside him after matches, was unable to protect Messi this time, as Inter Miami has prevented him from entering the pitch since last year, although he is still tasked with guarding Messi's family.

This incident highlights the importance of personal security for sports stars, especially following a series of similar incidents in global stadiums.
