The Employment Opportunities Forum dedicated to people with disabilities, organized by the Finnish Relief Organization under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Syria, and funded by the Finnish Foreign Ministry, kicked off today, Saturday, at the Seven Gates Hotel in Damascus with the participation of 50 private companies and NGOs.
The two-day forum aims to enhance employment opportunities by providing a direct platform for communication between job seekers with disabilities, public and private sector entities, and NGOs willing to provide employment opportunities for people with disabilities ranging from mild to moderate, including jobs for university, diploma, and high school certificate holders.
The forum also includes training workshops on integrating people with disabilities into the labor market, writing resumes, preparing for job interviews, artificial intelligence and the job market, building a professional profile on LinkedIn, legal environment, and occupational health and safety for people with disabilities.
