Syrian Security Reveals Terrorist Plot to Target Damascus and Announces Its Foiling

The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced today, Thursday, the foiling of a terrorist plot aimed at the capital, Damascus.

A security source told SANA that the security operation was carried out in coordination between the Syrian internal security and the General Intelligence, in addition to Turkish intelligence.

The source did not disclose further details about the nature of the plot or the targeted objectives, but confirmed that the operation resulted in thwarting the attack before its execution.
