Iran Confirms Its Readiness for a Long War and Refusal to Negotiate with the United States

In a new escalation of events, a senior Iranian official emphasized today, Thursday, that Tehran has not sent any messages to the United States, following American reports that Iran attempted to communicate with the Trump administration through regional countries in recent days, but Washington did not respond.
The Iranian official, in an interview with Tasnim news agency, confirmed that his country will not respond to any future American messages, indicating that the Iranian armed forces have prepared themselves for a long war, in a stance that shows Tehran's determination for confrontation.
* Khamenei's Advisor: We Do Not Trust the Americans
This came after Mohammad Mokhber, advisor to the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, announced yesterday, Wednesday, that Iran does not intend to negotiate with the United States and is ready for a continuous war.
In a statement to the official Iranian television, Mokhber said:
"We have no trust in the Americans, and there is no basis for negotiating with them; we can continue the war as long as we want."
* Israeli Concerns
For its part, an American official indicated that Iran sent messages in recent days, but the United States did not receive any response, according to what Axios reported.
The site also mentioned that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu requested clarifications from the White House after learning that American officials might be communicating with Tehran.
The report suggests that Netanyahu's outreach reflects Israeli concern that Washington might seek a ceasefire before achieving all of Israel's objectives in the conflict.
* Continuation of the War
This comes at a time when the Israeli-American war on Iran enters its sixth day, with no signs of a near resolution, amid ongoing escalation on the ground.
