New Iranian Missile Attack on Israel Sparks Panic in Tel Aviv

In a new escalation of the ongoing war between Tehran and Tel Aviv, Iran launched a heavy barrage of missiles towards Israel early Thursday morning, causing alarm sirens to sound in several areas, most notably Tel Aviv and central Israel, amid a wide state of security alert.
The Israeli army announced that it detected missile launches from Iranian territory towards Israel after a calm period of more than seven hours, confirming that air defense systems moved immediately to intercept the threats.
At the same time, Iranian media, including the Iranian Radio and Television Organization, confirmed the missile launches as part of Iran's ongoing response.
According to journalists, the Iron Dome system managed to intercept dozens of missiles during the early hours of the morning, while alarm sirens sounded for the first time tonight in wide areas of central Israel, particularly in Tel Aviv and Greater Tel Aviv.
Reports indicated that falling missile debris also reached areas in Jerusalem and the West Bank, prompting residents to quickly head to shelters.
Emergency teams from Magen David Adom moved to sites believed to have been hit by debris.
Despite the missile attack, there have been no immediate reports of injuries, while the Israeli army allowed residents to leave the shelters after the alert was lifted.
The Israeli Home Front Command had announced yesterday, Wednesday, the easing of some war-related restrictions starting Thursday afternoon, allowing for limited activities and gatherings of up to fifty people.
In a parallel development, the Israeli army spokesperson stated that operations to intercept missiles and drones are still ongoing, noting that Israeli forces intercepted dozens of ballistic and offensive targets in western and central Iran during the day, marking the sixth day of the war.
He added that the army continues to strike the missile launch capabilities of the Iranian regime as part of a military operation described as "Rising Lion," aimed at neutralizing missile threats and reducing Iranian military capabilities.
On the other side, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Larijani, blamed the United States for the outbreak of the war, considering that U.S. President Donald Trump has led his country into a "unjust war" with Iran due to what he described as the "impulses" of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Larijani wrote on the platform “X” in both Persian and Arabic:
“Trump has led the American people into an unjust war with Iran as a result of Netanyahu's impulses and his ridiculous actions,” asking: “Is the slogan still America First or has it become Israel First?”
The spark of the current confrontation dates back to February 28, when Israel announced the start of a wide attack on Iran, which it called "Lion's Roar."
Later, Washington announced its participation in a joint military operation with Israel under the name "Furious Wrath," confirming that its goal is to topple the Iranian regime.
Iran responded by launching waves of missiles and drones towards Israel, in addition to targeting sites in Gulf countries that host U.S. military bases, as well as areas in Iraq and Jordan, raising concerns about the expansion of the confrontation in the region.
