The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has selected 12 Arab referees to officiate matches in the upcoming Club World Cup in the United States next summer. Four main referees from the Arab region have been chosen, including Omar Al Ali from the UAE, Mustapha Ghorbal from Algeria, Moataz Ibrahim from Libya, and Salman Falahi from Qatar. Additionally, four assistant referees from two Arab countries have been selected, along with four Arab referees assigned to the Video Assistant Referee duties in the Club World Cup. This participation was described as a source of pride and honor by FIFA's Head of Referees Committee, Pierluigi Collina.
