The United States announced today, Wednesday, a new visa policy targeting foreigners who "impose restrictions on American citizens." Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a statement: "It is unacceptable for foreign officials to issue or threaten to issue arrest warrants against American citizens or residents in the United States because of posts on American social media platforms while they are on American soil." He also added that it is "unacceptable" for foreign officials to demand American technology platforms to monitor content.
