The President of the Syrian Contractors Syndicate, Fawaz Jneid, discussed on Wednesday with a delegation from the Jordanian trade and contracting sector the exchange of engineering and construction expertise, and cooperation to benefit from Jordan's willingness to assist in the reconstruction process and establish joint projects that serve the two countries' peoples.

Jneid emphasized during the meeting the importance of utilizing all the offers presented by the representatives of the companies participating in the delegation, to expedite the country's recovery, pointing out the maximum benefit that both parties would gain from exchanging experiences and capabilities.

On his part, the President of the Jordanian Contractors Syndicate, Fuad Al-Dweiri, expressed the Jordanian contractor's desire to enhance cooperation and coordination with their counterparts in Syria, highlighting the potentials and experiences possessed by the Jordanian construction sector, which would align with the needs of the reconstruction phase in Syria.

The meeting stressed the necessity of forming a joint technical committee between the contractors' syndicates in both countries, and preparing a roadmap to facilitate logistical procedures, and working on connecting the parties to enhance the smooth flow of joint work without obstacles.
