Italian coach Simone Inzaghi closed the door on speculations about his future with Inter Milan amid reports of a move to Saudi Arabia, saying it would be "crazy" to discuss these matters before the Italian club faces their rival Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final. Speculations linked the 49-year-old Italian coach, who is under contract with Inter until June 2026, to a possible move to Saudi club Al Hilal for a generous financial offer. Inzaghi told journalists today, Monday: "It's the same every year, when I was at Lazio and at Inter, luckily there are offers, from Italy and abroad, and from Saudi Arabia." He added: "But I think it would be crazy now to think about that. As Inter's president, with whom I have a great relationship, said, the day after the match we will sit down and talk, as we have always done over the years. With only one goal in mind, which is Inter's interest." Inter aims to overcome the pain of losing the Italian league title in the final round to Napoli when they face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on Saturday at the Allianz Arena. Inzaghi said, "Friday was not an easy day, believe me. Losing the championship was very tough. But you don't look back, in football you always have to look forward. Let's do that." He continued: "I saw the players again today, we had a meal together outdoors. After Como, I didn't feel like talking, today I saw them. We have a big match ahead, but this group always excites me, and I believe they will do it again on Saturday." Inzaghi took charge of Inter in 2021, won the Italian league title last year, and led them to the Champions League final twice in three seasons.
