Destruction of 11 Iranian Ships .. Washington Escalates Operations Against Iran
The U.S. military announced an escalation of its operations against Iran, emphasizing naval pressure through the aircraft carrier group "Gerald R. Ford" and Carrier Group in the Mediterranean Sea, as part of the ongoing "Epic Fury" operation around the clock.
The U.S. Central Command "CENTCOM" stated in a statement published on platform X that U.S. forces were able to destroy all 11 Iranian ships present in the Gulf of Oman, confirming that Iran had been tightening its grip on international navigation there for decades, but "those days are over".
CENTCOM added that the U.S. naval movement coincides with intensive airstrikes against Iranian targets, including command and control centers belonging to the Revolutionary Guard, air defense platforms, and missile and drone launch sites.
The statement noted the continuation of military cooperation with Israel, confirming that joint strikes have been ongoing since last Saturday morning, while Tehran escalates its missile attacks via mobile launch platforms aimed at causing as much damage as possible in the region.
The U.S. leadership asserts that it will continue to take decisive actions against Iranian threats, as part of its efforts to ensure the security of international navigation and regional stability.
