The relevant authorities in Abu Dhabi dealt with an incident on Sunday involving debris from a drone falling on the facade of one of the Etihad Towers buildings, as a result of it being intercepted by air defenses.

The Abu Dhabi Media Office reported that the incident resulted in minor injuries to a woman and her child, in addition to limited material damage to the building.

The authorities confirmed that the sounds heard by residents of the emirate were due to successful interception operations, warning against spreading rumors, and emphasizing the importance of obtaining information only from official sources, with a promise to publish any updates as soon as they arrive.
