US Army: Death Toll from Operations Against Iran Rises to 4 After Incident of Friendly Fire

CENTCOM clarified in a post on X platform that the fourth individual who was seriously injured during the initial Iranian attacks has died from his injuries, bringing the total number of fatalities to four.
The US Central Command also confirmed the incident of three American fighter jets being accidentally shot down over Kuwait during a joint air operation, following intervention by Kuwaiti air defenses. The six crew members who were ejected from the aircraft survived, and their condition is described as stable.
CENTCOM stated that an investigation is ongoing to determine the causes of the incident, amid concerns about the recurrence of "friendly fire" incidents during the intense military operations in the region.
