Iranian state media reported today, Monday, the death of Mansoureh Khodjasteh Bagherzadeh, the wife of the late Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, due to injuries sustained from the military attack launched by both the United States and Israel on his residence in Tehran last Saturday.

The attack resulted in the death of leader Ali Khamenei and several family members, while the injuries sustained by his wife led to her death days after the incident.
The Iranian authorities announced, according to Tasnim news agency, a period of public mourning for 40 days, with an official holiday of 7 days, in honor of the late leader and his family members who perished in the attack.
