The Tunisian President Kais Saied, during his meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan in Tunisia, stated that what is happening in the region today resembles a new 'Sykes-Picot' targeting the Arab and Islamic nation.
Saied added that what he described as the 'Zionist movement' seeks to eliminate the existence of the states themselves, emphasizing that the current situation requires a collective effort to thwart what he considered a 'criminal plan'.
The Tunisian president pointed out that the crimes committed by the Israeli forces, in his words, are not limited to genocide through starvation and targeting civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, and depriving them of water, but also aim to strike the will for liberation.
He also affirmed that free peoples are in the process of formulating a new legitimacy that will replace what he described as the 'worn-out and decaying international legitimacy' in the future.
