Sisi: We stand with Qatar against Israeli violations threatening regional security

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi made a phone call on Tuesday evening to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, during which he expressed Egypt's strong condemnation and deep denunciation of the Israeli attack on Doha.
The official spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency, Ambassador Mohamed Shenawy, stated that President Sisi emphasized that Egypt firmly rejects any violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Qatar, affirming that what occurred represents a provocative assault and a blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.
Sisi confirmed Egypt's full solidarity, both leadership and people, with Qatar in facing this aggression, pointing to Cairo's support for the measures taken by Doha to protect its security and stability.
For his part, the Emir of Qatar expressed his deep appreciation for the Egyptian stance, valuing the depth of the fraternal relations that bind the two countries and their brotherly peoples, and informed President Sisi of the latest developments following the Israeli attack.
Both sides agreed on the importance of the international community acting urgently to assume its responsibilities and to stop the repeated Israeli assaults that threaten regional and international peace and security, while emphasizing the need to hold those responsible for this violation accountable.
