The Syrian Ministry of Education Announces the Preparation of Kurdish Language Curricula for All Stages Within 6 Months

The Syrian Ministry of Education announced the assignment of the National Center for Curriculum Development to prepare special curricula for the Kurdish language for all educational stages, in preparation for its inclusion in schools before the start of the next academic year.

Curriculum Preparation Period

The ministry set a period of six months for the preparation of the curricula, which includes designing the educational content, reviewing it, and printing it to ensure its readiness before the start of classes.

Teaching the Kurdish Language

The ministry confirmed that the Kurdish language is considered a national language, and it may be taught in areas where Kurdish citizens make up a significant percentage of the population, aiming to enhance the linguistic and cultural identity of students within the Syrian educational system.
