The Syrian Minister of Awqaf Calls for Supporting the Development Fund Through Mosque Preachers

The Syrian Minister of Awqaf, Mohammad Abu al-Khair Shukri, confirmed that "social solidarity is a fundamental pillar in building the homeland and enhancing its resilience," considering that supporting the Syrian Development Fund is a "national and ethical duty."

This was stated in a post by the minister on the "X" platform, in which he clarified that he directed mosque preachers in various Syrian provinces to invite worshippers to contribute to supporting the fund, "based on the social responsibility that the Ministry of Awqaf undertakes in promoting the values of cooperation and solidarity among the members of society."

The minister addressed the citizens, saying: "I call upon our dear people to give and contribute, for the homeland is a trust and solidarity is a responsibility, and what you offer today is a treasure for you in the hereafter and an investment in the future of our country and our children."

This call comes as part of national efforts aimed at enhancing sustainable development and achieving social justice by involving various segments of society in supporting developmental projects that aim to serve the public good.
