In a surprise that reflects huge shifts in the global wealth map, the Forbes 400 list for 2025 revealed that an increasing number of young billionaires are dominating the money and technology scene, with the youngest ten of them holding a combined wealth of nearly 357 billion dollars, a massive increase from last year's 273 billion dollars.
This significant leap in youthful wealth is led by technology star Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of "Meta", who added 72 billion dollars to his fortune in just one year!
And although the average age of the richest Americans is still approaching 70 years, a new generation of entrepreneurs and investors under the age of 43 is confidently and quickly making its way to the top.
* Record Numbers in Billionaire Ages:
In 2025: 33 individuals under the age of fifty joined the Forbes 400 list.
In 2024: the number was only 26 individuals.
What unites these young people is that they built their wealth themselves through founding companies or early investments in promising sectors, except for one billionaire who inherited his wealth.
