Syrian President Ahmed Shar'a received British Foreign Secretary David Lame in Damascus today, Saturday, in the presence of Syrian Foreign Minister As'ad al-Sha'ban.

The Syrian Presidency said: "President of the Syrian Arab Republic Mr. Ahmed Shar'a received British Foreign Secretary Mr. David Lame in Damascus, in the presence of Foreign Minister Mr. As'ad al-Sha'ban".

It added: "The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation, in addition to regional and international developments".
