The Malaysian Prime Minister Condemns Israeli Attacks and Warns of Threat to Regional Stability

The Malaysian Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli attacks on the sovereignty of several Arab countries, considering them a revelation of "the aggressive and inhumane approach of the occupying government," and a "serious violation of international law that threatens the stability of the entire region."
Ibrahim's statements came just before his departure to Doha to participate in the emergency Arab-Islamic summit scheduled for Monday.
The Malaysian newspaper "The Star" quoted the Prime Minister as saying: “The attacks by Israel against six countries in the region within just a week or two cannot be accepted; such audacity is unacceptable.”
Ibrahim further clarified the scope of these attacks: “Israel has targeted Qatar, Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, and Yemen in a short period, in addition to the Global Resilience Fleet in the territorial waters of Tunisia.”
He emphasized that Israel has "crossed all red lines, and there is no one to deter it," affirming what he described as “the aggressive and inhumane approach of the occupying government’s leader, Benjamin Netanyahu.”
It is noteworthy that these statements come in the context of the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirming last Saturday that the Prime Minister's participation in the summit "affirms Malaysia's support and solidarity with Qatar," as well as "confirming Malaysia's efforts to defend the rights of the Palestinian people and condemn the violence and brutality practiced by Israel."
Israeli occupation forces had launched an aerial assault on Doha last Tuesday, ignoring international laws and norms and the sovereignty of states, an act that provoked widespread international and Arab condemnations.
