Damascus International Fair concludes its 62nd session with great success: More than two million visitors and dozens of investment agreements

Finance Minister Mohammad Yaser Barniya confirmed today, Saturday, that the preparations that lasted for a few months resulted in a comprehensive national achievement, bringing together Syrian industries and local and international initiatives under one roof, noting that the fair formed a strategic platform for integration between development, production, and investment goals.
In a post on his official Facebook page, Minister Barniya explained that the fair resulted in the signing of dozens of contracts and agreements, reflecting its vital role in supporting small and medium-sized projects, stimulating investment programs, and enhancing the position of industrialists, farmers, and innovators in various Syrian provinces.
He also pointed out the active participation of the Ministry of Finance through organizing workshops and panel discussions addressing development issues and financial sector development, with the participation of ministers, experts, and fair visitors, in an interactive scene that reflects the confidence of Syrians in their economic future.
The minister expressed his optimism that the fair would be a bridge for Syria's return to the global trade map, and an economic, tourist, and cultural landmark that connects the country with its international partners, enhancing confidence in the path of growth and prosperity.
In conclusion, he thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the fair, affirming that Syria will transition from the slogan "Syria welcomes the world" in the 2025 fair to "the world races to Syria" in the 2026 edition, indicating the country's aspirations for a brighter future.
