Syrian Defense Minister: Engineering men continue to clear the land despite heavy sacrifices

The Syrian Defense Minister, Major General Marhaf Abu Qasra, stated in a post on platform X today, Sunday, that the members of the Syrian Arab Army continue their operations to clear the land of mines and unexploded ordnance left by the fallen regime, with unwavering determination and unbreakable will.

The minister pointed out that the engineering teams have made significant sacrifices over the past nine months, including the martyrdom of 31 soldiers and the injury of 60 others, including 12 amputations, in addition to the loss of 16 field vehicles, all in order to ensure the safe return of the residents to their areas.

Despite these losses, Abu Qasra emphasized that the determination to continue has not diminished, and the army is moving forward with its national mission until the complete cleansing of Syrian soil.
