Riyadh: Syrian-Saudi Media Meeting to Discuss the Development of the Media Sector in the Region

Syrian Minister of Information Hamza Mustafa discussed today, Sunday, with his Saudi counterpart Salman bin Yusuf Al-Dosari in the capital Riyadh, the challenges facing the media sector in the region, and ways to revive the Syrian media after years of neglect during the fallen regime.

Both sides emphasized during the meeting the importance of exchanging experiences and activating media cooperation between the two countries, especially in light of the technological developments and digital transformations taking place in the Arab media landscape.

Minister Mustafa stressed the necessity of benefiting from the Saudi experience in modernizing the media infrastructure, enhancing national content, and developing Syrian media personnel in line with modern professional standards.

For his part, Minister Al-Dosari welcomed any joint steps aimed at supporting Arab media, pointing out that the Kingdom is ready to provide technical and training support within the framework of regional partnership.
