Syria Signs Agreement for Oil and Gas Exploration with Qatari and American Companies

The Syrian Oil Company signed a memorandum of understanding today, Wednesday, with American company Chevron and Qatari company Power International Holding for oil and gas exploration in Syrian territorial waters.

The memorandum aims to explore hydrocarbon resources and assess investment opportunities in the marine energy sector, as part of a move to enhance cooperation with specialized international companies and develop technical capabilities in this field.
