Saudi-Syrian Meeting in Riyadh to Enhance Health Cooperation and Support Medical Projects in Syria

The Syrian Minister of Health, Musab Al-Ali, discussed today, Sunday, in the Saudi capital Riyadh with the head of the Saudi Fund for Development, Sultan Al-Murshid, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the health sector and support priority projects in Syria, which contributes to improving the quality of medical services provided to citizens.

The meeting addressed mechanisms for financing and developing health infrastructure in Syria, activating training and rehabilitation programs, in addition to studying new hospital and medical center projects in the most needy areas, within the framework of ongoing Saudi support for vital Syrian sectors.

Both sides emphasized the importance of exchanging medical and technical expertise and intensifying coordination between health institutions in both countries, which enhances the response to humanitarian and health needs in Syria, especially in light of the challenges facing the medical sector.
