Saudi Arabia condemns Israel's attacks on Latakia and Homs, describing them as a blatant violation of international law

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed, in an official statement published via the (X) platform today, Tuesday, its strong condemnation of the ongoing Israeli attacks against Syria, following the targeting of sites in the provinces of Latakia and Homs, confirming that these attacks represent a blatant violation of international law and a breach of the disengagement agreement signed in 1974 between Syria and Israel.

The statement emphasized that the Kingdom firmly rejects any action that undermines Syria's sovereignty and national security, considering the Israeli military escalation a direct threat to the stability of the region, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities in stopping these repeated violations.

These statements come amid rising regional tensions, as the pace of Israeli airstrikes on Syrian territory has increased in recent weeks, alongside Arab and international calls for the necessity of respecting the national sovereignty of states and not using force outside the framework of international law.
