The "SAP" Organization Confirms Its Cooperation with the U.S. Congress to Lift Sanctions on Syria

As part of efforts to end economic sanctions on Syria, the Syrian American Coalition for Peace and Prosperity "SAP" reaffirmed its commitment to continue working and closely coordinating with members of the U.S. Congress, with the aim of building a shared future that serves the interests of both the Syrian and American peoples.
This was stated in a post by the organization on the "X" platform, where it expressed its gratitude to Congressman Joe Wilson, saying: "We express our gratitude to Republican Congressman Joe Wilson, praising his supportive positions and appreciation for the efforts made by 'SAP' to end the sanctions imposed on Syria." The organization added in its statement that these steps "are part of enhancing dialogue and cooperation between the two countries."
For his part, Congressman Wilson had previously called for the "complete repeal of the Caesar Act," following his meeting with Foreign Minister and Expatriates Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani in the capital Washington on the nineteenth of this month, where the two sides discussed ways to develop bilateral relations and lift sanctions.
"SAP" confirmed in its statement its continued work closely with its partners in the U.S. Congress to promote initiatives aimed at lifting economic restrictions and opening new horizons for political and economic cooperation, which will positively reflect _according to its vision_ on regional stability and international relations.
These movements coincide with the rising calls within American political circles to reconsider the policies regarding the sanctions imposed on Syria and to seek alternative diplomatic solutions that ensure the interests of the peoples and support efforts for peace and prosperity.
