The Qatari Prime Minister describes the Israeli aggression as "State Terrorism" and warns of its dangerous escalation

In his speech during the opening of the preparatory meeting for the emergency Arab Islamic summit in Doha, the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, accused Israel of "state terrorism" after it bombed a residential area in the Qatari capital, asserting that this aggression "represents a blatant violation of the sovereignty of a member state of the United Nations and a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability".
Al Thani clarified that the Israeli bombing "targeted a residential area in the capital that includes diplomatic missions and schools, resulting in the martyrdom of a security personnel and civilian casualties", describing the attack as "a flagrant violation of international law and diplomatic norms, undermining any efforts for calm in the Middle East".
The Qatari Prime Minister also revealed that the aggression occurred "while Qatar was hosting negotiations aimed at calming the situation in Gaza and releasing prisoners", considering that "targeting members of the negotiating team of Hamas reveals that Israel is not only undermining mediations but also targeting the principle of diplomacy itself, as reflected in the repeated statements of its officials regarding the annexation of Palestinian territories and the illusions of 'Greater Israel'".
He emphasized that "the silence of the international community and its inability to hold the occupation accountable encourages Israel to continue its aggression", asserting that "Qatar will not tolerate any violation of its sovereignty and will take all legal and diplomatic measures to protect its national security".
Al Thani warned that "the continuation of international silence will lead to a series of blood and destruction from which no one will be safe", calling for "not to remain silent in the face of this barbaric aggression and to take tangible measures on various fronts to prevent further escalation".
For their part, the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, expressed his condemnation of the attack, describing it as a combination of "cowardice, treachery, and folly", while the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, renewed his solidarity with Qatar and stressed the "necessity of enhancing Arab-Islamic cooperation with Doha".
This preparatory meeting for the emergency summit, chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and attended by foreign ministers of Arab and Islamic countries, is convened to discuss a draft statement regarding the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar on the ninth of September, which targeted residential premises of several leaders of Hamas in Doha.
