Judicial documents have revealed horrific details in one of the most serious cases of child sexual abuse in the United States, after American pediatrician Earl Bradley was convicted of committing assaults against more than 100 children during his long medical career.
The case dates back to 2008 when authorities arrested the doctor, who was then 56 years old, after a series of serious charges were brought against him related to the rape and sexual exploitation of children.

Life Imprisonment After Hundreds of Criminal Charges
According to the Daily Mirror, the doctor, now 75 years old, is serving multiple life sentences in an American prison.
The sentence came after he was convicted of repeatedly assaulting children in his clinic, even filming those assaults while the victims' parents waited outside the examination room.
More Than 100 Victims
According to an extensive indictment exceeding 160 pages, Bradley committed his assaults between 1998 and 2009, involving 103 children, most of whom were girls, and some were only a few months old.
The case included 471 criminal charges, including repeated assaults on some victims that lasted for years.
Investigations indicate that one victim was assaulted between 2007 and 2009, while another was subjected to continuous harassment for almost an entire year.
Shocking Evidence Found in the Clinic
During a search of the doctor's medical clinic, authorities found over 13 hours of video footage documenting the assaults.
They also seized computers and hard drives containing thousands of files related to child patients, which formed key evidence in the case.
Early Warnings Not Addressed
Investigations showed that the doctor was able to continue his work for years despite previous warnings and complaints.
Families and nurses had filed complaints about his professional behavior, including accusations of conducting unnecessary examinations and medical procedures on children, but those warnings did not receive adequate attention from the relevant authorities.
Reports also indicated that the doctor's sister attempted to seek professional intervention years before his arrest, but those pleas were not taken seriously.
Massive Financial Settlement for Victims' Families
In the aftermath of the case, the families of the victims filed lawsuits against medical entities associated with the doctor's work.
These lawsuits ended in a record financial settlement of approximately $123 million, one of the largest settlements related to child abuse cases in the United States.
