The ministry confirmed that the Lebanese health sector is facing significant pressure due to the increasing number of injuries, calling on international institutions and humanitarian organizations to provide immediate support to enhance hospitals' capacity to cope with the disaster. It noted that hospitals in Lebanon are working around the clock to provide medical care to the wounded.
International Calls for De-escalation
Meanwhile, several international entities have issued urgent calls to cease the escalation, emphasizing the need to respect the rules of international humanitarian law and protect civilians in Lebanon. These calls highlighted the necessity of finding urgent diplomatic solutions to minimize human and material losses, especially amid rising regional tensions in the area.
