The Iranian Revolutionary Guard confirmed that the targets hit in this wave included areas within Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Beit Shemesh, in addition to American bases in Erbil and other sites in the region.
It pointed out that these strikes are part of a military strategy targeting vital and military sites, amid the ongoing escalation between Iran, the United States, and Israel.
Beginning of a New Phase of Military Escalation
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard explained that it has begun a new phase of impactful strikes against what it described as the "American-Zionist enemy," indicating that the operations will not be limited to a specific geographical area but will extend to multiple regions in the Middle East.
It confirmed that this phase relies on a diversity of weapons used, including long-range missiles and drones, aimed at enhancing military impact and disrupting the air defenses of adversaries.
These developments come at a time when the region is witnessing unprecedented escalation in military operations, with exchanges of attacks between several regional and international parties, raising concerns about the widening scope of the conflict and its impact on regional stability.
