The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced on Sunday that it had carried out two waves of missile and drone attacks against American and Israeli targets, according to a statement attributed to it.

The Revolutionary Guard stated that it hit three "violating" oil tankers belonging to the United States and Britain in the Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, and also announced targeting the American naval base in Salman Port, Bahrain, using drones.

It added that it targeted various American bases in the region, which resulted – according to the statement – in the death and injury of 560 American soldiers, noting that the Ali Al-Salem American base in Kuwait was completely incapacitated following the recent attacks.

No immediate comments were issued from the American side regarding these claims.
