Interior Minister Anas Khattab meets citizens in Damascus and affirms the ministry's commitment to transparency and responsiveness

In a move that reflects the Ministry of Interior's direction towards enhancing direct communication with citizens, Minister Anas Khattab received a number of citizens today, Monday, at the ministry's headquarters in Damascus, who had submitted complaints to the first security complaints department, as part of the minister's personal follow-up on the issues raised.

During the meeting, the minister listened to the details of the submitted complaints and discussed with the complainants the main challenges they face, affirming the ministry's keenness to overcome obstacles, ensure citizens' rights, and work on providing services efficiently and transparently.

Khattab pointed out that these meetings are part of the ministry's plan to establish a culture of accountability and enhance trust between the citizen and the security institution, through interactive mechanisms that ensure immediate response to demands and address pending issues with a sense of responsibility.

This initiative is part of a series of reform steps adopted by the Ministry of Interior, aimed at developing institutional performance and achieving administrative justice, in line with the aspirations of Syrian society in the new phase.
