Intensive Intelligence and Diplomatic Movements in Damascus.. Russian, Turkish, and American Delegations Discuss Sensitive Security Files

Damascus is witnessing a notable international movement, with the arrival of intelligence and political delegations from major countries to discuss security files that are increasing in importance in the Syrian scene.
Sources from Al Arabiya/Al Hadath reported on Sunday that a delegation from Russian intelligence and another from Turkish intelligence are holding meetings in the Syrian capital, focusing on sensitive security files in various regions of the country.
Sources also confirmed the arrival of a delegation from the U.S. Congress to Damascus to conduct discussions related to security files, most notably the Syrian coast, the Caesar Act, and the associated sanctions.
"A shift from isolation to partnership"
This movement comes days after statements from U.S. envoy Tom Barak, who said that Syria is witnessing a "notable shift from isolation to partnership," referring to the increasing international openness towards Damascus.
These statements followed the visit of Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara to the White House last week, where he met with U.S. President Donald Trump. Trump praised al-Shara's efforts aimed at putting Syria on a path to reconstruction and restoring stability during the meeting.
These developments reflect a series of indicators regarding a change in international approaches towards the Syrian file, with the possibility of entering the next phase in a more open negotiating and security path between Damascus and several influential capitals.
