Zelensky Attacks the Silence of the West After a Wave of Intense Russian Strikes

In his evening speech, Zelensky expressed his astonishment at the absence of any effective international action, stating that this complacency is what drives Moscow to continue the attacks, adding that Russian President Vladimir Putin "mocks this international silence."
He pointed out that critical infrastructure in Ukraine, especially energy facilities, has become a direct target of Russian attacks at a sensitive time before winter, threatening the country's stability and increasing the suffering of civilians.
Zelensky also revealed that the drones used by Russia during the recent attack contain thousands of electronic components imported from Western countries, questioning why the flow of these components continues despite more than three and a half years since the war began.
The nighttime attack resulted in five deaths and 18 injuries, amid warnings of a new escalation that could affect additional civilian facilities in the coming days.
