Washington seeks to sell about 30 "Apache" helicopters and thousands of combat vehicles to Tel Aviv for billions of dollars

Reports indicate that the Trump administration has informed Congress of plans to sell weapons to Israel worth nearly $6 billion, including a deal to purchase about 30 AH-64 "Apache" attack helicopters valued at approximately $3.8 billion, in addition to thousands of infantry combat vehicles costing around $1.9 billion.
According to informed sources, the proposal will include about 3,200–3,250 combat vehicles with varying names and functions according to the documents and data circulating, and a separate item for support and enhancement supplies may be added to the package.
Reports mentioned that the approval process in Congress is still underway, and the expected delivery of the equipment may take two to three years or more from the date of approval, meaning it is not an immediate shipment to the battlefield.
It is noted that this step comes at a time when Israel is experiencing intensive military operations and an escalation in international diplomatic pressures related to the conflict in Gaza, making the issue of arms sales a topic of political discussion both within the United States and abroad.
No official comment has been issued by the White House or the U.S. Department of Defense at the time the reports were published, nor has the Israeli government publicly commented on the details of the deal so far.
