The official spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense, Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, announced that Saudi defense systems successfully intercepted five hostile drones that were flying near Prince Sultan Air Base.

Al-Maliki explained that the air defense systems dealt with the threats successfully before they reached their targets, emphasizing that the armed forces continue to enhance their readiness to protect the skies and vital installations in the Kingdom.

This development comes amid escalating military tensions in the region and an increase in drone and missile attacks, with several Gulf countries on defensive alert in anticipation of any potential threats.
