Ukraine calls on Western countries to intercept missiles and drones in its skies

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha urged Western countries to intercept missiles and drones over Ukrainian territory, following an incident involving the crash of drones in Poland.
Sybiha said: "There must be a clear and firm response from our partners. We rely on a quick decision to intercept Russian flying objects over our land." He added that Ukraine has held discussions with its neighbors, such as Romania and Poland, regarding debris falling or border violations, emphasizing that the time has come to make this decision.
Ukraine had previously called on NATO countries to intercept Russian missiles and drones, but Poland clarified that it is not considering this option. In new developments, Poland announced on Wednesday that it shot down drones it claimed were Russian.
The Russian Ministry of Defense denied any drone launches towards Poland, stating that the drones launched towards Ukraine do not reach Polish territory, and confirmed its readiness to conduct consultations with the Polish side.
