Macron and Trump Discuss Developments in the Middle East, Ukraine, and the Israeli Strike on Qatar

French President Emmanuel Macron announced that he had a phone call with former U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss the situation in the Middle East and recent developments regarding Ukraine.
Macron said in a post on the social media platform "X" on Wednesday that the call was "great," adding: "We discussed the concerning developments of the Russian aggression war on Ukraine, especially the entry of Russian drones into Polish airspace."
It is worth noting that the Russian Ministry of Defense denied launching any drones towards Poland and ruled out the possibility of them reaching Polish territory, in response to Poland's accusations of violating its airspace.
Macron also mentioned that he discussed with Trump "our shared concern about the situation in the Middle East following the Israeli strike on Qatar," emphasizing that close cooperation between Europeans and Americans is vital on both fronts and can significantly contribute to enhancing peace and security.
This comes following the Israeli raid on Doha on Tuesday that targeted leaders of the "Hamas" movement, which Macron condemned during a phone call with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim.
