Trump wrote on the Truth Social platform, "Jerome Powell, 'too late,' fool, doesn't understand anything. Besides that, I really like him a lot!" He pointed to the decrease in energy costs and his tariff policy and doubted any increase in costs or inflation, adding, "This is completely contrary to the phrase 'too late!'"
