New in Aratooz: Electricity updates and opening the main entrance to enhance comfort and traffic flow.

In a step aimed at improving the quality of electricity in the town of Jadidat Artouz in the countryside of Damascus, the Rural Damascus Electricity Company and the Jadidat Artouz Emergency Office replaced and upgraded two electricity transformers. The capacity of the first transformer was increased from 1000 kilovolt-ampere to 1600 kilovolt-ampere, and the second from 630 kilovolt-ampere to 1000 kilovolt-ampere, in order to enhance current stability and reduce faults in some areas. The head of the municipal council, Haitham Ghanem, confirmed the existence of a comprehensive plan to improve the electricity situation in the town, which will be implemented in stages in the coming days, as part of the municipality's efforts to develop basic services. On another note, the municipal council announced the reopening of the main entrance to the town to traffic, after being closed for about two months due to administrative work within the town, facilitating movement for residents and visitors and reflecting the council's commitment to providing a suitable civilized environment.
