Train carrying munitions and lithium batteries derails in Sweden

The Swedish Radio and Television Authority (SVT) reported that a train loaded with munitions and lithium batteries derailed due to heavy rainfall in the northern region of Västernorrland, Sweden.
The media network stated that several carriages stopped along the railway near the town of Örnsköldsvik, and the Swedish Transport Agency explained that repairs to the track could take several weeks.
Peter Johnson, spokesperson for the Swedish Transport Agency, confirmed that the hazardous materials will be handed over to specialized emergency teams, which will then carry out the cleanup and assess the damage accurately.
