Minister Al-Wais emphasized the urgent need for judicial reform and addressing the damages caused by the previous regime. He stressed the importance of preserving the judicial process to ensure citizens' rights are not lost, emphasizing the importance of implementing fair and effective justice, with a focus on digital transformation as part of this process. The Minister also highlighted the significant challenges facing the judicial sector, such as instability, lack of resources, and the impact of the overall situation in the country on the administration of justice. Both sides also discussed transitional justice and its connection to neighboring countries, as well as the role of the United Nations in supporting this process through providing information, facilitating extradition, recovering funds, and reparations.
