The Syrian Minister of Interior, Anas Khattab, received today, Saturday, at the ministry's headquarters in Damascus, a delegation of notables from the city of Hama representing various community components, in a meeting aimed at strengthening the bridges of communication between government entities and the local community.
During the meeting, the minister discussed with the attendees ways to support security and stability in the governorate, emphasizing the importance of building mutual trust between the ministry and citizens, and enhancing the community's role in conveying needs and facing challenges.
Minister Khattab stressed that the Ministry of Interior is open to direct dialogue and seeks to develop work mechanisms that ensure a more effective response to citizens' needs, praising the role of notables in consolidating national cohesion and enhancing cooperation between the state and society.
This meeting comes as part of a series of meetings conducted by the ministry in various governorates, aimed at consolidating the concept of community security and updating service and security policies to suit the specificity of each region.
