The Kremlin warns of serious escalation if Washington supplies Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Moscow is aware of reports indicating that Washington is considering this step, emphasizing that "if this happens, it will provoke a new round of tension to a dangerous degree, and there will be an appropriate response from the Russian side."
Peskov added that "no weapon can fundamentally change the course of events," referring to the fact that Russia does not see this step as a strategic shift, but considers it a direct provocation that requires a response.
U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance stated on Sunday that Washington is considering a Ukrainian request for Tomahawk missiles, raising Russian concerns about the expansion of the war and threats to regional security.
